About the Cobb County Community Services Board heart

The Center for Community Based Partnerships, Inc. provides funding for the Cobb and Douglas Counties Community Services Boards that serve more than 13,000 people with mental illness, addiction or developmental disabilities in Cobb, Douglas and Cherokee counties each year.
Services include:

  • Outpatient mental illness and addictive disease treatment and management
  • Short-term residential crisis treatment services for people with psychiatric or drug/alcohol problems
  • Long-term residential treatment services for adolescents with drug or alcohol problems
  • Employment and living support services for people with developmental disabilities
  • Life skills for people with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities

Event proceeds will fund initiatives to promote awareness and inclusion, helping people with a mental illness, an addiction, or developmental disability live fuller lives in their own communities.
