Tracey Walker began storytelling by bringing stories into classrooms in Head Start centers in Southern Appalachia.  She is the Youth Services Specialist for the Dawson County Public Library in the North Georgia foothills where she shares stories with the children at the library, as well as county elementary and middle schools, Headstart and prekindergarten programs. Her short story, Aunt LuLu and the Tube of Death, was published in Oh, Georgia! A Collection of Georgia's Newest and Most Promising Writers. A member of the Southern Order of Storytellers and the National Storytelling Network, she has also shared stories at festivals including the St. Louis Storytelling Festival, the Roswell Magnolia Storytelling Festival, and Tale Spin in Chattanooga.
