The first born of working class parents, Daniel Adom Kumi was born on November 26th, Daniel Adom Kumi 2000, in Atlanta GA to Adelaide Nana Kumi and Alex Kumi. At the age of 1, Daniel started talking and was extremely inquisitive about everything around him, especially cars. He could identify a car by merely looking at the emblem. By age three, Daniel could identify a car by looking only at its key!

At age 3, Daniel began home school with his Grandmother as teacher. By age 4, he was reading and doing basic math (addition and subtraction). At age 5, Daniel developed an interest in writing short stories and communicating to his friends through letter writing. After writing these letters, his parents helped him to mail them. This, of course, encouraged the precocious little boy to write more letters!

Daniel invented a game called "Spell Talk Game," where he communicated through spelling. Using this game, Daniel communicated with his parents by spelling whatever he wanted to say. At age 6, Daniel began Kindergarten at A.L. Burruss Elementary School. He represented his school competing in a literature contest, and won 1st place on the Kindergarten level with his piece "My Favorite Place."

Daniel has a passion for reading and writing creative stories. Also at age 6, Daniel's grandmother asked him to put his entire collection of creative stories in writing. He is still engaged in writing and reading and has won yet another 1st place award for an essay entitled "I can Make a Difference." Daniel is very caring and loving individual, especially towards his younger sister. He likes playing and is highly interested in jungle animals.
